Fresh outlook for LINPAC in Paris

LINPAC Packaging is hosting one of its popular Fresh! seminars for food packaging buyers, retailers and food processing professionals in Paris next week (May 20th).

Attendees will see the latest products and technology currently in development at LINPAC and find out more about how new materials and packaging processes can help retain freshness, cut food and packaging waste and offer a more attractive product to consumers, supporting companies’ efforts to save money and boost the bottom line.

Joanna Stephenson, Vice President Marketing & Innovation at LINPAC Packaging will speak at the seminars. She said: “The Fresh! Seminars look at the future of the food processing and packaging industry and show how it will be affected by the changing social, economic, political and technological landscape.

Speakers at Fresh! represent many decades of experience in industry, food packaging, technology and materials research. They include Alan Davey, Director of Innovation at LINPAC and one of the UK’s most widely skilled polymer and environmental practitioners, Erwan Cadoret from LINPAC Pontivy, who will speak about the latest innovations in film technology and Trevor Potter from Rovipack who will unveil Quadpack – a new packaging concept to combat the problems associated with fresh poultry packaging and campylobacter.

Other subjects to be discussed include trends in the French packaging market byFrançoise Gerardi from ELIPSO, lightweighting, sustainability and the bakery and prepared chilled foods sector.

The Fresh! Seminars had a successful run in 2011 and 2013, with the LINPAC team hosting events in the UK, Italy, Hungary, Germany and Spain.
