eWalmart has recalled around 90,000 lbs from its stores over the fear that it might contain wood particles. United States Department of Agriculture said the recalled beef patties were supplied to Walmart by Huisken Meat Company.

Sold under the brand name, Huisken Meat Company will recall boxes of “Sam’s Choice Black Angus Beef Patties” because they may be contaminated with extraneous wood materials. 2-lb. boxes of the patties with Use-by dates of 05/17/2016; 05/29/2016 and 06/06/2016 are subject to the recall.

None of the shoppers have reported getting sick after consuming these meat boxes. Yet USDA urges shoppers to return the product for a refund. If not refunded, one should not consume it and throw away.  The patties are sold at select Walmart stores, according to the retail giant’s website.
