El Corte Inglés will propose the merger with Bricor

The board of directors of El Corte Inglés will propose at the next general meeting of shareholders, which will be held on August 25, the approval of the merger by absorption between El Corte Inglés S.A. and Bricor (as an absorbed company), an operation that will not affect the workforce.

As noted on Monday the distribution group, in addition to not affecting the workers of Bricor and El Corte Inglés, after the merger both brands will be maintained, each with its own corporate identity.

With this project, El Corte Inglés seeks to improve and complement the commercial offer, while taking advantage of the synergies between both formats, both in the area of ​​purchases and sales.

Likewise, the group has indicated that this merger will also allow an optimization of the commercial proposal and services for the client.
