Edeka in the Wiehre reopens on 4 September

Since the end of July the Edeka branch is closed on the corner of Günterstal and Lorettostraße. After six weeks of renovation, the supermarket will open again next week.

Already when the family business Strecker took over the market from Edeka Südwest at the end of 2017, it was clear that this had to be completely redeveloped, as Markus Strecker informs on BZ-request.

Since July 22, the supermarket is now closed, for next Wednesday, the reopening is planned. The technology as well as energetic and hygienic alignments are state-of-the-art, according to Strecker. “Nothing reminds me that it was once an Edeka new purchase market.” An individual design, based on Freiburg and the district Wiehre, determined the character of the market.

In addition, the former shoemaker business on the corner of Loretto and Kirchstrasse was converted into staff rooms.

Edeka Strecker opens on Wednesday, 4 September 2019, 8 o’clock. The opening hours are from Monday to Saturday from 8 to 21 o’clock.
