Delhaize recalls its Marc Adams branded chicory heads

The supermarket chain Delhaize warns against the consumption of chicory heads from Marc Adams, which is sold under its own brand. Affected products were packed on 5 and 12 December. The supermarket is requesting that clients should return Delhaize-brand chicory heads to their stores if they originate from Marcus Adams suppliers. Arbitrary testing shows the presence of dimethoate and omethoate, pesticides that can be risky if devoured in huge amounts.

Chicory heads with Marcus Adams label are only that was influenced, the company said in an announcement. Delhaize is asking individuals who purchased these items not to eat them but rather to take them back to their stores, where they will recover their cash.
