Costco looking to open a store in Murfreesboro

Murfreesboro City Councilman Eddie Smotherman confirmed that Costco has examined property for a possible store in the city. he said “We have a great location that we would like for them to go to,” and added : “Hopefully, things can be worked out.” .

The possible place for the Costco store would be on Charles B. Mitchell property east of the Stones River and west of Interstate 24,  Smotherman said.

River Rock Boulevard residents are worried about added traffic cutting through their neighborhood to drive to a possible Costco.
