Casino will install Amazon guidelines in a thousand stores.

The Casino Group plans to install Amazon Lockers instructions in a thousand stores of its group (Monoprix, Monop ‘, Giant, Leader Price and Spar) and open Prime deliveries beyond the Paris region.

Between Casino and Amazon, the partnership is strengthening. As disclosed by Reuters, the distribution group will install in one of its stores Amazon Lockers instructions to allow customers of the online sales site to recover their orders. These instructions will be present in the Monoprix, Monop ‘, Géant, Leader Price and Spar brands. Contacted by BFMTV, Casino specifies that these bins will be “installed between August and December 2019 and will be spread throughout the French territory, mostly in the provinces.” The group does not detail the list of stores concerned.

Casino management also announces that its products will be available on Amazon’s website. “In this way, the Casino Group is pursuing its digital strategy by adding a new distribution channel for its own-brand products,” Casino said in a statement.

The third point of the partnership is Prime Now, the fast delivery service offered to Amazon members. Casino and Monoprix have decided to extend this service beyond the Paris region.
