The Carrefour hypermarket, located in the Ewües district of Cluses will therefore be established in the commercial area of Val d’Arve in Scionzier.

Last November, Jean-Philippe Mas, mayor of Cluses, in front of an assembly of tradesmen, had implied that this departure was preparing. He explained that the sign wanted to go to the schonverot commercial area and was fighting to put an economic activity in the current premises of the hypermarket.

Friday evening, Jean-François Briffaz, deputy mayor of Scionzier, confirmed that the Carrefour building permit would be filed this week. The sign will be installed in place of the Altia factory.

Jean-François Briffaz made it clear that this move was done in good collaboration with the municipality of Cluses. These remarks confirm those of Jean-Philippe Mas; He explained that he was vigilant about the signs that will be established in the extension of the commercial area of Val d’Arve so that they do not destabilize the commercial offer of the Clusian basin.
