Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) announced that it will participate in SIAL 2016 exhibition being held in Paris. The five day long, Europe’s largest exhibition on food industry products SIAL Paris, is attended by around 160,000 delegates from around the world. The exhibition runs until Thursday, 20th October.

The Brazilian companies lead by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) exhibits its vast range of products in a space of around 3,000 m². The main focus of the country’s stalls will be on beverages, beef, pig & chicken and healthy fruit products. More than hundred Brazilian companies are exhibiting their products on four different pavilions.

The most important trend is the use of new innovative technology used to preserve fruit-based products without losing their nutrient values. The Açai berry from Brazil is one of this year’s stars. This “Superbeere”, which is very trendy in international markets, offers many business opportunities, such as organic products. The snack segment in this year’s exhibition will also witness many Brazilian companies which are looking for overseas expansion.
