BFREE HITS WAITROSE SHELVES FOR FIRST TIME WITH NEW BAGELS

BFree Foods, Ireland’s leading free from bakery brand, is extending its distribution into Waitrose stores. The brand’s popular Stone Baked Pitta Breads, Quinoa & Chia Seed Wraps and Soft White Loaf will be available on Waitrose shelves from 2nd May. Waitrose will also be the first supermarket in the UK to stock BFree’s Plain Bagels and Multiseed Bagels.

Having launched into Asda in 2013, BFree has gone from strength and is now listed across most major UK multiples.  With its great tasting and extensive range of free from products, BFree is suitable for both those with coeliac disease and those looking for gluten-free bakery products as part of a healthy, balanced diet.

Alex Murphy, General Manager at BFree says, “We are delighted to be launching into Waitrose for the first time and feel our premium tasting gluten-free products are the perfect fit for the retailer and its customers. It’s great to see success continuing with this significant new listing, and we are looking forward to driving momentum further in the UK throughout 2016.”

High in fibre and only 187 calories, BFree Plain Bagels are healthy and guilt free alternatives to traditional bread.

The BFree Multiseed Bagels are also high in fibre, and are topped with super seeds such as quinoa, poppy and golden linseeds to give a delicious flavour.
