Belvoir Fruit Farms gets exotic with new Coconut & Lime Pressé in a can

Premium soft drinks producer Belvoir Fruit Farms has added a brand new offering to its canned drinks range. New Coconut & Lime Pressé is a move away from the traditional English fruit and flowers predominantly used in the Lincolnshire based company’s products.

The pressé contains real coconut water from young green coconuts, real pressed lime juice, and gently bubbling spring water. It can be served chilled for a refreshing summer drink, or used as the perfect mixer with Gin, Vodka or Rum.

Pev Manners, MD of Belvoir, said: “This is an exciting new route for us to take here at Belvoir. This more exotic pressé recipe uses coconut water which we haven’t used before. Sales of coconut water have been soaring over the last few years due to its superb hydrating properties. So it seemed liked the perfect new ingredient for us to work with.”

The new pressé comes exclusively in a stylish 25cl slimline can, the third for Belvoir, who launched their best-selling Elderflower Pressé and Raspberry Lemonade in can versions in 2013.

The idea to package in cans was originally intended to cater for cafe and takeaway outlets that hankered after Belvoir’s products but could not stock their 25cl glass bottles due to glass restrictions. However, following a successful launch last year, there have been increasing numbers of outlets taking the cans across several channels of trade.

Belvoir worked with Big Fish Design to design the bespoke can which reflects the premium image of the Belvoir brand and marries well with its elegant range of glass bottles that come in 250ml, 500ml and 750ml.
