Asda to sell limited edition Hogmanay steak pie

Bells Food Group is set to end the year on a positive note with an agreement with Asda, which will permit them to stock a limited edition Hogmanay steak pie in Walmart owned supermarket’s stores crosswise over Scotland. The Shotts-based firm, which has been working with the supermarket giant for a long time, said the 1.1kg pie would accessible in each of the 62 stores north of the Border for a limited time.

The organization hopes to see deals take off by 50 percent during the holiday period, with an extra 20,000 pies being delivered. Ronnie Miles, Managing Director, Bells Food Group: said that Hogmanay is a unique and traditional time of year, and as a family business they were extremely glad that the Bells estimations of value, magnificence and enthusiasm are enjoyed by such a large number of neighborhood Scots.

Asda’s associate purchaser for Scotland, June Rose, included that they were extremely glad to bolster nearby suppliers and in doing so, they could offer customers awesome tasting regional items at reasonable costs.
