Asda recalls Oatibix flakes

Walmart owned English supermarket Asda announced recalling of Oatibix flakes due to possible presence of blue rubber. The producers, Weetabix Food Company decided to recall a small number of 550g packs of Oatibix Flakes, after it was found that the product may contain small pieces of blue soft rubber. The supermarket in its statement to the shoppers advised not to use these products. The affected products are the £2 flakes from Asda, with best before dates of January 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2017.

Weetabix said that the customers would get a full refund if they bring back the Oatibix Flakes purchased from Asda with these best before dates. No purchase receipt is needed to awail the refund.
