Walmart owned UK supermarket giant Asda announced that it is recalling the chocolate and beetroot cake sold in its British stores due to nut allergy fears. The supermarket recalled the Extra Special Chocolate and Beetroot cake might be dangerous to anyone with an allergy for walnut. It was not properly labeled in the package about its nut content.
Asda said that the cake may contain Extra Special Carrot, Courgette and Orange Loaf Cake which contains walnuts, and this is not mentioned on the product label. The product has a best before date of February 22 and anyone who has purchased it could get a full cash back once taken it back to the nearest store.
