Asda has blown the first horns of fuel war for 2019 with a reduction touched their fuel at all 320 forecourts from Tuesday, January 8th.

Customers will be able to benefit from Asda’s fuel reduction on unleaded fuel with 1ppl and diesel 2ppl, This means customers can around the country pay no more than 113.7 ppl for the unleaded and 123.7 ppl on diesel.
Asda’s senior fuel buyer, Dave Tyrer explained “As a result of wholesale prices recently falling we’ve been able to pass these savings onto our customers, giving them a good start to the New Year. Motorists filling up at Asda will pay no more than 113.7ppl on unleaded and 123.7ppl on diesel,” according to the Mirror.

Asda have announced on their Twitter:
” We’re cutting the price of unleaded petrol by 1p per litre and diesel by 2p per litre tomorrow. Our national price cap means motorists will pay no more than 113.7ppl for unleaded and 123.7ppl for diesel. It’s our seventh fuel price drop in the last three months.”

This reduction is known to be the 7th reduction on fuel since October 26th.
