Got a hankering for a camel milk smoothie? Or perhaps a splash of camel milk with your tea? Asda is the first supermarket to introduce camel milk – Camelicious – so you might be sipping on a camel cappuccino sooner than you thought.
Surfacing as a celebrity trend, well-known stars such as Kim Kardashian have been seen lapping up camel milk and it’s also suitable for those who are lactose-intolerant.
An Asda spokesperson, said: “We always aim to make sure our range is a diverse as possible and Camel Milk is something a number of customers have been asking to see on shelf. We know Arabic nomadic groups have been drinking it for centuries, and we’re excited that our customers can now enjoy the latest food trend – we think it’s set to make a big splash.”
Available now, Camelicious Long Life Whole Camel Milk is exclusive to Asda with an RRP of £2.85 for 235ml.
