The biggest shareholder of Arsenal now becomes the owner of the largest ranch in the United states after he bought a Texas ranch spreading across 216,500 hectares for £500m. American multi-billionaire Stan Kroenke bought a ranch as big as the size of three major US cities – Los Angeles and New York – together. His wife, Ann Walton Kroenke, is the daughter of Walmart co-founder James “Bud” Walton.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the purchase of the ranch, “Waggoner”, which is in the state of Texas, has cost the wealthy at $ 725 million. The ranch includes a herd of 7.5 thousand heads of cattle, 500 horses, more than 12,000hectares of agricultural land and about 1,200 oil wells, which provide an annual 675 thousand barrels of oil. Only eight people own more land than Kroenke in the United States. Stan Kroenke owns the largest real estate developers – Kroenke Group, and his wife – the successor of supermarket company Walmart.
