According to experts, the position of Dino as the fastest growing supermarket chain in Poland will not be reduced – on the contrary. According to analyzes, the threshold of 1200 stores will be exceeded in this, not 2020. This means that in three years the network will probably be able to double the number of branches. At the same time, Dino increased profitability – the profit margin increased to 23%. in 2017 with 22 percent in 2014.
Analysts expect that these trends will continue in the coming years due to, among others, growing scale of activity and better sales structure.
According to the BOŚ bank, in the near future, Dino may show above-average financial results – for example, adjusted EBITDA in 2019 will increase by 32 percent. on a yearly basis. Analysts expect a strong increase in profits not only due to the opening of new stores but also a strong increase in LFL sales – which results, among others, from a strong increase in retail sales.
A few days ago, Dino informed about obtaining PLN 150 million for investments in a chain of stores and logistics. The company has finalized the signing of two loan agreements with PKO BP. Dino Polska obtained a loan for PLN 80 million, while the subsidiary Dino Południe – PLN 70 million.
At the end of 2018, Dino Polska managed a network of 977 stores under the name Dino. In 2018, the estimated total value of the investment was PLN 600-650 million. According to analysts in connection with the planned rapid development of the company in 2019, the company may increase capital expenditures in comparison with the previous year.
