Aldi officially announces grand opening for South Charleston store

Aldi will officially open its second store in Kanawha County in October 2016. The retailer has announced that it will have its grand opening for the 2810 Mountaineer Blvd. location in South Charleston on Oct.17. The grand opening ceremony and the ribbon cutting will be at 8:45am. The out-let has been under construction since May, replacing the Staples office supply store that was previously located at that position.

The first 100 customers will have a provision to win a ‘golden ticket’ worth $100 which can be used at the outlet on the opening day. Aldicanbe described as a low-priced food store that initially sells its own branded products. The German company is in the way to $3 billion expansion project to add more stores in the United States. The working hours of the outlet is set at 9am to 8pm from Monday to Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sunday.
