The heart of the message: no need to complicate life or pay dearly to eat healthy and live better. Both retailers offer healthy recipes and draw attention to their wide assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables, organic food and vegetarian and vegan products. In addition, consumers have the opportunity to register as a ‘product tester’ on the platform aldi-inspiriert.de, to evaluate three new fruit and nut bars that Aldi Süd wishes to launch at May. Although for the moment there is no question of it, the two partners nevertheless envisage a closer collaboration at the level of purchases and marketing.
