After being refused in 2016, Aldi’s proposal to open in Stroud has been approved by the state to open next week.

The German-based supermarket retailer has announced recently that it will be having a store in Stroud. The new store includes a parking with the capacity of 120 cars.

Aldi announced also that the shop on the Bath Road trading estate will open on Thursday, December 13.

This proposal has faced many voices claiming that the new store of Aldi will lead to jobs loss and also that it will raise traffic problems earlier.
