Aldi is donating unsold fresh food this Christmas

Wallet-friendly retailer Aldi said they are providing food-banks and charities with food on Christmas.

Aldi has confirmed that charities that are concerned are asked to contact them and they can pair them with the nearest store, Charities are welcomed after 6pm on Christmas to collect unsold perishable food such as fruits, meats, fish and bread. Aldi spokesman said that Aldi wants to give back something to the community and stated:”Last year we were able to reach thousands of people across the UK, and some charities were even able to prepare fresh meals that fed families well into the New Year.”
