Aldi expands in Madrid with three new supermarkets

The supermarket chain ALDI has opened three new surface stores in the Community of Madrid. The residents of Alcobendas, Alcorcón and the district of Argüelles already have access to their own product offering, fresh, packaged, regional, ecological “with a strong commitment to quality” of the German chain.

The head of expansion of ALDI, Eduardo López, highlighted the commitment of the chain for the district of Argüelles and expressed his confidence that the new store will have a magnificent reception allowing the inhabitants to have a new alternative when making their purchase.

The store in Gaztambide was inaugurated on November 4th and was attended by Concepción Díaz de Villegas, director of Commerce, Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the City of Madrid. The municipal representative highlighted the commitment of the Consistory for the proximity trade and the revitalization of neighborhood markets that is made possible thanks to the commitment of companies such as ALDI. The 1,550 square meters store opens its doors to the public from Monday to Saturday from 09: 00 to 22:00 hours and Sundays from 10:00 to 20:00 hours.

This new opening of the chain is part of the development plan of ALDI in the Community of Madrid, where it already has 27 establishments.
