Recall at the supermarket chain Lidl: Affected are salt and pepper shakers, which may contain broken glass.

Update from 16 February: The spice manufacturer Weiand GmbH has recalled several glass spice mills sold at Lidl. Affected are three spreaders of the brand “Kania glass ceramic mill” with black pepper, colored pepper or sea salt of the company. As the manufacturer informs, a defective glass was used in the affected products, so there is a possibility that glass splinters fall out of the grinder. The products can be returned to all Lidl stores. The purchase price will be refunded.

They were sold in Lidl branches in Bavaria, Hamburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia.
