From January 2019, Biedronka introduced changes in the remuneration system. Otherwise, performance bonuses and rewards for unplanned absences are paid out. Apart from the basic salary, employees of Biedronka stores also receive a discretionary bonus related to store results and an award for the lack of unplanned absences.
Monthly, not quarterly, bonuses. From January 2019, the quarterly performance bonus will be replaced by a monthly bonus. The rules for calculating it will also be modified, as a result of which it will cover the majority of Biedronka employees.
The strategic goal of the network is to build a positive customer shopping experience, so it will be one of the criteria determining the receipt of this bonus. From the new year, employees of stores may receive a bonus of PLN 170 gross per month.
” We want our remuneration system to meet the current needs of employees and be shaped on the basis of market factors. During this year’s remuneration review, we modified two components: the reward for the absence of unplanned absences and the discretionary bonus associated with the results of the store.”
