With the approaching of the Christmas time, many retailers start their offers and online deals to boost their base in social media, this what gives the chance to many scammers to take advantage of the period to launch their activities in the name of these retailers. Asda is one of them. A Facebook page called “Asda Stores” has recently stared it activities claiming to represent Asda asking its followers to comment “Thanks” and share its posts to have the chance to win 85 vouchers. The “Scam” page is getting many comments and shares from those customers wishing to win the vouchers. Asda has confirmed that this page doesn’t represent the chain and it is fake, Asda is encouraging people to unlike the page and not react with the page. The giant retailer stated that it will contact Facebook to remove the page.
