SPAR Netherlands is organizing all kind of activities to celebrate their 80 year anniversary. Recently, SPAR introduced a delicious tasting biscuit – featuring the SPAR logo – in a handy, unique tin of which only a limited quantity were produced. In addition, customers will receive a jute shopping bag for free when spending at least € 20, – on groceries. The bags as well as the biscuit tin have a modern design.
New package design
During the past few months, SPAR Netherlands have worked really hard on a re-design of the own brand packaging. “At this moment, there is a weekly flow of articles into the SPAR supermarkets featuring the new packaging “, says Jan-Hein van Spaandonk enthusiastically. He is the brand manager responsible for the SPAR own brand. “The design is very modern and fresh and a real eye catcher on the shelf. In support of this introduction we wanted the bag and biscuit tin to have the same design.”
In line with the 80th anniversary celebrations, SPAR customers received a Jubilee magazine when paying for their groceries. Within the magazine, SPAR Netherlands reflect on some of the great SPAR partners in other parts of the world within the worldwide family. The magazine also features recipes, interesting facts and the history of the company. Furthermore, shoppers can also enter a competition to win a chance to shop 80 seconds for free in their local SPAR store.
