The general manager of the network stressed the importance of the store management in “responding to the changing expectations and needs of our clients and managing store teams, especially in the face of the increasingly competitive market related to the ban on Sunday trading.”
For this reason, Jeronimo Martins decided to pay the premium for store managers and their deputies. As Luis Araujo assures, it will be paid out at the end of January.
The bonus is discretionary and depends on the results of a particular store. The money is awarded for achieving the results of the store for a particular month. If the given location was able to complete the goals for each month in 2018, then the bonus has the maximum amount. Each manager can check his reward in the Jeronimo Martins internal information system, but according to unofficial information, they range from PLN 30 to PLN 100 per month – from PLN 200 to PLN 1,200 a year.
According to the informer, this is the first bonus of this kind in the history of the Polish branch of Jeronimo Martins. Until the publication of the article, however, the company did not refer to questions about the conditions for granting specific bonuses for store managers.
The bonus for store managers does not mean that there will be no bonuses for regular employees this year. according to the source, the decision was usually made in March or April.
