Harveys To Award $1,000 to Hawkinsville, Ga., High School For Winning Grocer’s “Pigskin Pride” Contest

What:
Harveys will present Hawkinsville High School Athletics Department with a $1,000 check Friday, Jan. 11, ending its winter three-state contest for Harveys customers.

When:
Friday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m.
Who:
Media, customers and 200 high schools supporters are expected to attend the presentation, which will take place in the high school cafeteria.
Details:
Harveys launched the Pigskin Pride contest last fall in its South Carolina, Georgia and Florida markets. Customers had the opportunity vote for their favorite high school football team via text. Hawkinsville High School received approximately 5,000 votes.
