Interbrand’s yearly 100 Best Global Brands rundown has been published recenlty.  While it is nothing unexpected to see Apple in the top space (up 43% from 2014) and Google in second place (up 12%), Coca-Cola at number three has snuck past 4%.

 

Taking a gander at food and drink companies- next is McDonald’s at number nine (down 6%); Pepsi at number 24 (up 3%); Budweiser at 31 (up 7%); Nescafé at 36 (up 7%); and Kelloggs at 34 (down 6%). Outside the main 50, Danone is up 5% at number 51; Nestlé is up 7% at number 42; Starbucks is up 16% at 67; KFC is down 7% at 75; Sprite is down 5% at 81; Jack Daniels is up 6% at 84; Heineken is up 14% at 89; Johnnie Walker is down 6% at 92; Corona is up 2% at 93; Smirnoff is down 4% at 94; and Moet and Chandon is another passage at number 99. The other newcomers incorporate Lego, PayPal, Mini and Lenovo. The quickest risers were Facebook, up 54% and in 23rd spot, trailed by rundown pioneer Apple, Amazon (+29%), and Adobe (+17%).
