Delicious chocolate temptations at Speciality Chocolate Fair
Speciality Chocolate Fair is located within the heart of Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2015, this ‘show within a show’ celebrates all that is chocolatey and is the UK’s largest showcase of luxury and gourmet chocolate. Complete with its own cooking theatre; Speciality Chocolate Live, is set to inspire and inform – with many top pastry chefs and chocolatiers demonstrating skills and flavour combinations. This extravaganza of chocolate artistry, will be hosted by author, pastry chef consultant and chocolate ambassador, Will Torrent.
From Rising Stars to Returning Names
Running over three days, Speciality Chocolate Live will showcase Three Rising Stars, in association with the Academy of Chocolate. The stage will shine its lights on rising star, Matthieu de Gottal; he will be presenting ‘Creating Whisky and Water Ganache’ at Speciality Chocolate Live on Monday 7th September. Award winning Chika Watanabe, and Gavan Knox will also grace the stage during the ‘Rising Star’ sessions.

Returning chocolatier, Marc Demarquette from Demarquette Fine Chocolates, will be presenting ‘Chocolate – Beyond The Traditions’. Marc believes that; “Taste is paramount; the bean to bar concept is good for both producers and consumers of excellent quality chocolate.”
Life Size Chocolate Baby Elephant arrives in London
Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2015 will also be welcoming Philippe Wall, Jean-Marie Dessard and Thierry Spierkel to capture your imagination and present ‘The Story Behind the Chocolate Elephant’. The three chocolatiers will be delivering a spectacular chocolate sculpture art installation. The aim is to raise awareness of the plight of Elephant Orphans, who are not only victims of poaching, but casualties of Human Elephant Conflict (HEC), where humans and elephants compete for habitat and food resources.
