Very Cold Weather Causes Loss of Life in India

An increase in the night temperature has helped Jammu and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh residents, but there has been a thick fog, which has affected air travel in India.The cold weather has been responsible for 366 deaths, of which 337 were in Uttar Pradesh.

It has been intensely cold in the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh regions, but Jammu has seen a slight rise in the temperature.

The Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh have suffered from very cold winds, and Amritsar has been the coldest place.
