Foodexpo creates a unique hotel event

During Foodexpo 2018 at MCH Messecenter Herning, Hall H will be all about the hotel industry, hosting an inspiring, trendsetting and high-spirited hotel concept developed in collaboration with the design and lifestyle expert Mads Arlien-Søborg.
When the Nordic region’s largest food trade show, Foodexpo 2018, opens its doors on 18-20 March at MCH Messecenter Herning, it will for the first time ever include the hotel event called “The Lobby”.
In “The Lobby”, trend researcher and lifestyle expert Mads Arlien-Søborg will, in collaboration with Foodexpo, share his creative and visionary views on future trends and challenges of the hotel industry and create a unique space where visitors can meet and share their ideas and knowledge.
The exhibit area in “The Lobby” will introduce a series of the absolute top notch design companies. Furthermore, visitors can look forward to a series of interesting lectures with speakers from both Denmark and abroad. Mads Arlien-Søborg will not yet revealed which speakers to expect at the event, but he will say:
– We will have a diverse group of speakers with different approaches to the hotel sector. This will be both in relation to entrepreneurship, innovative hotel management, furnishing and design. It will really be a treat for the visitors.
A reflection of the hotels of the future
The hotel concept at Foodexpo provides the industry with the opportunity to make new business agreements, get new knowledge and inspiration as well as to rethink and redesign the hotels of the future and thereby offer unique experiences for the guests:
– The point of “The Lobby” is to create a meeting place where the industry can network. The lobby is where people meet at the hotels, and our event is a reflection of a hotel’s lobby. Here, you can come in and meet people, get some work done or have a cup of coffee. “The Lobby” will be a reflection of what is happening out in the industry, and the area will be constructed from the same building blocks, says Mads Arlien-Søborg.
For the 2018 Foodexpo, two extra halls have been added which means that the trade show now fills ten halls with exciting exhibits and concepts. The trade show will take place at MCH Messecenter Herning from Sunday the 18th of March to Tuesday the 20th of March 2018. Read more at uk.foodexpo.dk.
